The Unsquashable Mini Squash Award Scheme


The Unsquashable Mini Squash Award Scheme is the official England Squash Award Scheme for players aged 5 to 11 years and runs at all levels of Mini Squash, FUNdation, Improver and PRO

The Award Scheme provides coaches with a framework for delivering coaching sessions and alows children to develop all the vital athletic skills required in the development of young squash players. The Award Scheme can be implemented in schools, clubs or leisure centres

Coaches record children's progress on a weekly basis in using their player achievement record which forms part of the coaches resource pack. Children also record their own progress using their player passports. As children become profficient in the different skill areas they receive squashie stamps in their passport. As children move through the scheme they receive certificates to mark their progress

By working within the Award Scheme coaches can identify the strenghts and weaknesses of their Mini Squash players then use this information to help individual players improve.

To oportate the Award Scheme within your venue you will need the "Coaches Resource Pack" which can be purchased form the online shop or from your Regional Development Officer
